Long-Bristle Brush Seals
SUPERSEAL®
seals doors, windows, process chambers, air conditioned
rooms, construction machinery cabs, and lead-ins for pipes, hoses,
shafts and pull rods. It stops air flow, light, noise,dust, smoke,
material flakes and granules, liquid splashes, insects and rodents.
Material data
Standard bristles are manufactured of black nylon
with galvanised steel holding wire and backing in extruded aluminium
mountings. Several other material alternatives are also available.
Mounting strips are available with angles of 180 (as shown in picture), 90 and 45 degrees.
Short-Bristle Brush Seals
Short-bristle
brush seals are used in applications such as sliding doors and windows,
showcases, refrigeration devices, revolving doors etc. They have proved
to be especially efficient – and at a low costs – in all
kinds of balcony and patio glazing applications.
The bristle material is chemically durable polypropylene. Siliconised
polypropylene is characterized by low friction, firmness and
flexibility. It withstands UV radiation, ozone, chemicals and wear, and
is the best possible alternative for sliding seals.
Brush seals are available in several different widths and bristle lengths.
The standard colour is grey; other colours (e.g. brown, white) are available as factory deliveries.
